So You Think You Can Dance has become more globalized with each season. The first season only included Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Latin dances. In the second season, they introduced the International Standard styles, which include, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep. They also had one Afro-Pop. In the third season, they did not have African dance but they introduced Argentine Tango and Clogging. In Season four, they had their first Bollywood, African Jazz and Trepak Russian routines. In season five, they introduced Kalinka and a Classical Pas de Deux. In the sixth season, they introduced the Can-Can. In Season seven they introduced Tahitian dance and Malevos.

This shows globalization because with each year, So You Think You Can Dance is becoming more multicultural. Who knows what cultural dances will show up next season?
